ChatGPT is like Napster, which emerged during the early days of the internet. It is an AI tool that has the potential to be a game changer in the years to come. However, there are controversies and legislation surrounding it, much like the early days of the internet 20 years ago.
More and more people are using AI, and becoming familiar with the tools associated with it will change the way we think. Just as 20 years ago we would consult an encyclopedia for answers, now we simply "google" things. Similarly, we used to go to a physical music store and ask the staff for a song with specific lyrics, but now that seems like ancient history.
AI is bringing a revolution, and with spy balloons in the sky, a year-long conflict in Ukraine, earthquakes in Turkey, and climate change issues largely ignored, are we ready for the AI shift into the 21st century? Are we prepared for possible massive layoffs and the emergence of robots? Is it time to purchase bitcoins?
The year 2023 has been eventful so far, and we're only in mid-February.
